Marlborough Heritage Park in Blenheim
Established in 1968 and inspired by the vision of Norman Brayshaw, the park has grown into a vibrant heritage destination where visitors can explore Marlborough’s farming, transport, railway, modelling, woodworking, and local history traditions.
Brayshaw Heritage Park is maintained and supported by passionate volunteers and community organisations who continue to preserve and share Marlborough’s stories, skills, machinery, and collections for future generations.
Whether you are visiting the museum, enjoying a heritage open day, exploring vintage machinery and vehicles, or simply taking a walk through the grounds, there is always something to discover.
The park is located just 4.5 km from Blenheim’s town center. Public bus routes towards Redwoodtown make visiting easy, and pathways accommodate walking and mobility aids.
The park is home to the Beavertown Replica Village, recreating Blenheim’s historical street scenes for an immersive visitor experience. Scenic pathways, open lawns, and shaded picnic spots provide a welcoming environment to enjoy both nature and history.
